What kind of students is Red Education for ?

How much does it cost to sign up as a student ?

It is FREE to sign up.

How long does it take to sign up ?

It should take less than 5 minutes.

How do I sign up as a student ?

1. Go to www.red-ed.com

2. Click Login

3. Click create an account

4. Complete the details with your

• Username

• Email address

• Password

5. Click the box to agree to the terms

6. Click register

How do I pay for lessons and services ?

You need to add money to your account and you can use this to pay.

1. Select how much you want to pay into your account.

2. Select a payment method

3. Enter your billing details

4. Finally click buy credits

After I add money to my account where do I go to purchase a lesson or service ?

1. Click on Our Services on the top of the toolbar

2. Then click on whichever service you like

3. For example if you want to choose General English click Choose your elite tutor

4. Click book on the tutor you would like to have a lesson with

5. Select the time and day you wish to have the lesson on the tutor’s calendar

6. Then click book.

Where do the lessons take place ?

The lessons take place in our virtual classroom.

What do I need for lessons ?

You need a good noise-cancelling headset and internet with a stable Internet connection. Wifi is not acceptable under any circumstances. It must be wired Internet. Download minimum: 20mbps. Upload minimum: 10mbps minimum.

Can I reschedule my lesson if I need to ?

You can reschedule your lesson up to 24 hours before the lesson is due to start without losing your money.

How do I reschedule a lesson ?

1.Contact your tutor through the Red Education messaging system to let them know you have to reschedule.

2.Find your booking in your email and click the link that says reschedule.

3.Choose another time and date from the tutor’s calendar.

4.Your tutor will need to respond confirming the time and date are ok.

How do I get a refund ?

After the lesson is finished you should contact Red Education through the site to say why you wish to ask for a refund.

Account Setup

1. How do I change my account settings, like my name, email address, or password?

You can change these through your dashboard on the site by going to account settings.

2. What should I do if I cannot log in to my account?

Make sure you’re using the right email address. Try resetting your password.

If that does not work contact us through the contact page on the site or at info@red-ed.com

3. What Web Browser should I use during the lesson?

1.How do I watch videos on Red Education?

To watch videos:

Open the course home page for the course you want to watch videos in.

Click Course Content on the left side of the page.

Click on a video title to open the video player. Videos are marked with a play icon.

2. What should I do if the video keeps loading?

You can…

Refresh your browser.

Quit your browser and re-open it.

Clear your browser’s cookies and cache. Be sure to restart your browser before trying again.

Try a different browser, like Google Chrome.

Take a note of your browser extensions/plugins/firewall programs. Is there anything that could be interfering with the streaming of the videos? We recommend testing with an incognito window to troubleshoot.

Check your browser version and update it if needed.

Log out of Red Education and log back in.

Restart your computer and network devices (modems/switches/routers). Try a different device or computer if possible.

Turn off hardware acceleration (in Firefox or on Windows). Try lowering the video quality of the lecture.

Test your internet connection speed.

3. What should I do if the video has no audio?

Refresh your browser.

Quit your browser and re-open it.

Log out of Red Education and log back in.

Clear your browser’s cookies and cache. Be sure to restart your browser before trying again.

Take a note of your browser extensions/plugins/firewall programs and adblockers. Is there anything that could be interfering with the audio? We recommend testing with an incognito window to troubleshoot.

Check to see if you’re encountering audio issues while viewing videos on other sites like Vimeo or YouTube. If you still can’t hear anything, check the sound settings on your device.

Check to see if other lectures in the course are producing sound.

1. What should I do if I would like to report abuse through the site?
